This release of the month NetScaler Gateway, a large number of additional applications open for our new Framehawk display technology remoting.
NetScaler Gateway 11 Maintenance Release 1 (11.0 to 62.10) not only provides valuable quality improvements, adds support for the new UDP-based Framehawk virtual channel. If Framehawk came in June for the first time on the market, were the target applications primarily corporate WLAN and broadband satellite or microwave links.
, with NetScaler Gateway 11 MR1, Framehawk from the corporate network is available now, also, to work for remote access scenarios such as from home or a coffee shop or a hotel room. These are places where Wi-Fi is often the subject of electromagnetic inference, which degrades the quality of the connection. Support for remote access also opens the door Framehawk over 3G / 4G / LTE connections to use.
And this new NetScaler Gateway release even more valuable, earlier this month we make the version 6.0 of the Citrix Receiver for iOS with Framehawk support. So now you can use outside the office your iPad or iPhone with Framehawk, also.
