What I liked about Citrix's relationship with Cisco is the substance that supports, especially with regard to product integrations. These integrations have given us the opportunity to work with some of the brightest people on the Cisco team and identify new and creative solutions to difficult problems. The result is a product roadmap that has exciting developments with technology that "move the needle" as they say in Silicon Valley
Today I am pleased to announce the first part this roadmap. the delivery NetScaler VPX Application Controller (ADC) is running on the Nexus 1110 Platform cloud services. as a key link between / L3 Cisco Nexus L2 switching fabric and next software based generation such as NetScaler, the Nexus 1110 is a key component of the solution increasingly found in the data center. as the role of software becomes more important, strategic integrations like this are what will allow companies to move to a network defined by the neatly software.
With the founding of NetScaler Nexus in place, we can now look at how our respective impressions can be exploited to achieve even tighter integrations (and the corresponding value) to make it even more transparent network. Our roadmap to enable the promise of the virtual datacenter is really exciting.
In the future, I am more excited than ever. We have the platform and now it's time to do amazing things with it. Stay tuned and keep a watchful eye - there are many more to come.
