Octoblu streams can program automations for things visually that you have connected Octoblu. Whether it is a light, API or a software service, rivers are powerful tools for custom automation for your connected things to create.

We have spent the last month to develop the next version of our flow engine and are thrilled Octoblu users try to have it out.

What is different about the new flow engine?

• They are flowing able to start much faster and stop, allowing you to iterate quickly on your automations.
• We improve the availability and reliability of flows.
• We improved instrumentation, can flow automatically be monitored for failures started and new.
• We have evergreen inserts the flow engine to enable all users to restart the execution of latest version without their streams.
• future improvements will allow us to flow at the edge of the network (you can run in the future your streams running on IoT Gateways, connected cars, home / office).

How to make your streams to the new beta-flow engine

1. activate the beta-flow access to the profile page

2. Check the beta flow engine box on the river in designer

3. Set your flow (Press the play button)
