After a good first day at Citrix Summit 2013 at the Anaheim Convention Center with lots of workshops, sessions, keynotes, meetings, discussions and much, everyone went to the partner portion of appreciation that took held at Disney California Adventure.

First everyone headed to the Hollywood Studios in Hollywoodland. We were greeted by (modern versions) of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, very funny, followed by lots of food, music, etc.

After the party, I had the chance to walk through Disney California Adventure in Hollywoodland alone, nobody else was there:

This was an interesting experience. Only the music was playing, Disney employees told me later that he continues overnight. In fact, when you go to Disneyland a normal day, you are not alone at all. Thousands of other people are with you, but you want to be there alone, always the first in line for the next round.

NetScaler 10.1 - Another exit fix with 0+ New features -

NetScaler 10.1 - the main NetScaler Version for Mobile, Cloud, Multi-location and visibility as the core was released this week with great momentum. Several download and queries within days shows the interest that is driven by the large number of features delivered in this release. In total, there are over 0 net new features that are driving momentum across all customers we have. There is something new and exciting for everyone that they belong to the company, Telco, Internet, ISP, Cloud, financial or any other segment. We made sure to add value to all the basic modules that we have while adding net new modules for this version.

It is difficult to bring out the value or touch to all the basic features we added in one even write -up. In this blog, we try to touch on areas that will be of interest to most of our customers. Then we follow this with specific blogs on these individual characteristics.

Simpler Multi-location with Traffic Domain

NetScaler was the leader in multi-location initiative for many years with our SDX platform. While SDX offers the best multi-tenant solution possible with absolute isolation, he worked at the ADC layer. Another aspect of mobility is where we enabled the deep integration of Citrix NetScaler with XenMobile solution. We added the simplified configuration wizard to enable the rapid deployment of NetScaler if XenMobile use.

Better connectivity and experience with Multipath TCP

Think Mobile and TCP and you suddenly start wondering how TCP monitor mobile devices networks so often. TCP failure causes bad experience of the end user of the service and cause significant latency. As mobile devices can be several ways to connect to resources today and there is no good way to use the roads effectively. This is where Multipath TCP focuses on and brings the best of multiple paths to the end user while reducing latency and a bad experience for the end user.

Faster delivery of content with SPDY

SPDY is a new protocol developed for the treatment of light HTTP. It aims to reduce the use of bandwidth and making it faster Internet communication. Most browsers support SPDY today, but the servers and applications in the data center runs on HTTP only and we need a gateway device that can transform messages.
