something is to observe a data center solution providing as a suspense thriller: it is difficult to predict exactly when the villain lurks around the corner. Similarly, the infrastructure components (such as compute, network and storage devices) without specialization to unforeseen risks sometimes subject. And integration errors can be costly, has in downtime and further delays in provisioning result.

eliminate many integration unknowns, Cisco and NetApp have collaborated on the FlexPod® Data Center, a predefined architecture, the Cisco® Unified Computing System combined (UCS) servers, Cisco Nexus Fabric and NetApp storage systems. A soon-to-be-released Cisco Validated Design (CVD) makes it easy to Citrix desktop virtualization solutions with confidence.

This CVD describes a reference architecture that combines the FlexPod Data Center with Cisco UCS Mini, NetApp FAS2552 implement hybrid storage, VMware vSphere ESXi 5.5 Update 2 and Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop 7.6 software.

The CVD creates a flexible module for Citrix Desktop Virtualization, which is ideal for mid-sized companies or companies most environments, such as remote satellite locations and branch offices. IT administrators can Cisco UCS Manager with UCS Central use ongoing management to centralize, also a large number of geographically dispersed sites.

The CVD documents best practices, step-by-step deployment instructions and scalability test results that can help customers deploy an effective Citrix desktop virtualization solution quickly. The Cisco UCS Mini platform compute density makes that impressive for hosted shared desktops scalability and pooled virtual desktops in several mixed workload scenarios instead.

If you are interested in the CVD, will post a link soon we (as the villain in the thriller, it lurks just around the corner). Follow us on Twitter and we'll let you know when it has released
