1 . configuration of XMS CLI
Overview
Our goal is to provide detailed information on the initial XMS initial configurations for remote database with secure connection perform (SSL). This includes step-by-step instructions (with screenshots)

configure XMS CLI Command Line interface
Follow configure the following steps in the order the XMS restarted. Before the XMS Configuration make sure you have the necessary conditions exist.
- Open the console of the VM from the hypervisor (XenServer / VMware / Microsoft) and enter a new password for the admin account. This account would be used to login XMS CLI console
- Set the network configuration details as below

- remote database type "r" and press Enter.
- Select Depending on the type of database, please use MI SQL or PostgreSQL and in 'Y' type SSL.
- Type 'Y' root certificate to upload to communicate securely to remote database.
- you can load in two ways root certificate:
- By root certificate in a open notepad and completed, the content in under XMS CLI or
- to import by the certificate from the joint location (ie with iiS). See Appendix section of this document.
Let us try, first by addressing the content (ie Step 1).
- copy and paste the entire root certificate content in following CLI option and press Enter.
- Enter set the SQL / PostGreSQL server FQDN, port number, username, password, and database names.
- according to the above information, please click 'Y' to commit.
- If you want to cluster hit 'Y', if not hit 'N'
- Enter to activate the FQDN for the XenMobile Server, and click 'Y' to accept the changes.
- to select the default ports and click to commit to 'Y'.
- Enter. The passwords for PKI certificates
Note : It is recommended to go for all certificates with a password. However, if you want different passwords for each certificate, enter type 'n' and the passwords entered.
- Build the administrator account, login with which you want to XMS server UI
- If this is a new installation of XenMobile server, type 'n'. If this is an upgrade of an existing XenMobile installation, type 'y'
- Once the configuration is complete, you will receive the login prompt

How to import the root certificate for the remote database connection from a common location.
- First create an IIS Web site and the root certificate reload this page in by following the steps below:
- create a folder in the following location and copy root.cer certificate in this location on IIS server C: inetpub wwwroot
- on IIS to right-click default Web site and Virtual Add Directory
- Enter a name alias and then navigate to the folder created in step .. above and click OK.
- Select the virtual directory created in the above step and select Directory Browsing, and click Enable.
- create a folder in the following location and copy root.cer certificate in this location on IIS server C: inetpub wwwroot

in the section below where you copy or choose Import instead select now the option 'c', please select option "I" the certificate of the above to import IIS site and the URL, enter the root certificate to download.
- to the SQL / PostGreSQL server FQDN, port number, username, password, and database name to the changes offer to take over.
