On September 24, Citrix released CloudPortal Business Manager 2.1, the platform cloud services delivery form for self -service iT, allowing the journey to iT as a service. Manager unifies and simplifies business CloudPortal commerce, user management, service provision and operational aspects of a cloud
This is what is new :.
- Cloud Services Catalogue to create a catalog customized self-service services, including IaaS, cloud and third and IT services
- Customization SDK to create personalized user experiences and adapt how cloud services are packaged, delivered and measured
- BSS / OSS API for customization of application and service integration with business and internal and external operations support systems such as CRM, financial services and technical support platforms
- Simple upgrade process to move directly to CloudPortal business Manager 2.1.
- New Citrix partners and connectors including Appcara, ActiveState, Caringo, Cloudian, Cloudsoft and CumuLogic. For service providers, there is a connector for experimental Manager CloudPortal services. In addition, this release also includes reference connectors for Apache CloudStack and OpenStack 4.2
