Change the logo of the brand Worx Store - XenMobile Enterprise Edition -

In this blog, let's look at how to change branding on Worx Store (with the interior Home Worx) using the AppController or XenMobile XenMobile device Manager. In other words, if a company wants to have the company logo on Worx Store, the following steps will help you

Important :. When the company logo is published, you will see the logo just inside the Worx Store, where you see all the applications assigned to a user, but not on the main screen or the WorxHome Worx My Home screen applications.

you can push logo (branding) on Worx shop in two ways, one way is to use AppController and the other using the Device Manager. Both methods are explained below.

Using XenMobile AppController

You must ensure that the logo file you plan on having on Store Worx meeting the following pre-req:

Delivering Mobile Cloud Services Network Control now gets End-to-End unique integrations with Citrix for the Cisco Open Network Environment -

From the data center across the WAN to the user ..

in the long history of the Cisco and Citrix company, the two companies have worked together to provide excellent solutions to many of the largest companies in the world. there are about 16 months, we enthusiastically agreed to extend the sets of solutions we jointly offer beyond desktop virtualization to respond also to mobility, Cloud Services and Cloud Networking markets. Few other alliances in the industry can match the breadth and depth of integrated solutions from Cisco and Citrix develop.

This week at Cisco Live in Milan, yet now I have another reason to remain excited about our partnership with Cisco ... the new Cisco announcement about support "both" networks data centers and company ONE (Open Network Environment) Cisco platform.

Cisco's decision to consolidate their automation technology in the Cisco Application Infrastructure Policy Controller (APIC) is a powerful move which clearly demonstrates that Cisco not only gets "open", but is really encouraging their ecosystem partners significant added value to joint customers through deep integrations. As a strategic partner, we support Cisco in this transition and we have already made investments to link the APIC NetScaler family of products including 1000V with Citrix NetScaler.

The addition of the Cisco APIC Enterprise Module is a step just as powerful in making centric application framework (ACI) and automation of truly ubiquitous network in current and future network infrastructure. By allowing the entire family of Cisco WAN Access, Wireless and Data Center products to be uniformly controlled by APIC, Cisco is indeed far from any notion of needing upgrades as customers transition to an era network defined by software.

has Cisco Milan live, we will be demonstrating a real life scenario of how the ICA, Citrix integrations enabled by Cisco and depth, provides visibility and unprecedented control during delivery of office and mobile services. Specifically, we will link end-user experience from Citrix XenDesktop, market-leading virtual desktop solution and Citrix NetScaler, CDA supplying several of the largest clouds of the world, to spread so transparent in the APIC Enterprise Module to enable fine-grained control of the network from the experience of the end user. In the demo, the NetScaler gateway detects a potential deterioration in the experience of the end user with his native knowledge of HDX protocol and invited the APIC change QoS policy at the network automatically. APIC, now tied with the Enterprise module is able to drive change across the entire network starting with the DC and extending the WAN and access and wireless networks and show an immediate improvement in the experience of the end user in a final end network.

As the unified front end for all things Citrix NetScaler can also use the same approach for delivering value to the delivery of mobile and virtual application via XenMobile and XenApp. The NetScaler VPX, SDX, MPX and 1000v can further expand this scope to all forms of deployment in all applications in the public and private cloud.

Anyone can show a "relationship" with a press release and a quote, but you have deep integrations consistently delivered products across various product lines to bring forth the true synergy from end to end between companies to deliver value to the customer significantly in several areas. Cisco and Citrix are great partners because of this "coherent" synergy and we look forward to continue working together to provide a powerful value for our joint customers that we are transforming the mobile cloud era.

Elastyczność i nowoczesne technology kreują przestrzeń do pracy nowej generacji. -

Wiele instytucji Administracji Publicznej my ograniczenia finansowe, dlatego też coraz częściej poszukują alternatywnych sposobów na zwiększenie ograniczonych budżetów.

Badanie Citrix, przeprowadzone w ub. wśród 100 roku w osób decyzyjnych obszarze IT, z z 19 różnych Branz krajów potwierdza, że z tych firm wiele oczekuje redukcji powierzchni biurowej o 7 procent w 24 miesięcy of ciągu i Az o 16 procent do 2020 roku.

Wraz z coraz większym napływem nowych technologii do sektora Publicznego, wiele Agencji bardziej szczegółowo przygląda się z zagadnieniom związanym bezpieczeństwem i zarządzaniem samymi urządzeniami mobilnymi.

Podobnie jak i inne firmy - szukają bezpiecznego sposobu zarządzania Rosnaca liczba urządzeń, z ktorých pracownicy uzyskują dostęp do sieci i danych Organizacji. Citrix XenDesktop odpowiada na potrzeby you, umożliwiając pracownikom dostęp do zabezpieczonego wirtualnego pulpitu i aplikacji - stanowiąc kluczową technológie, wspierającą elastyczne formy pracy.

Sami niedawno, uruchomiliśmy tego typu program nazwany w biurach swoich 'workAnywhere' - by zobrazować, w jaki sposób można funkcjonalnie wykorzystać przestrzeń Biurowa.

W rzeczywistości teraz Každý my swoje biuro tam, gdzie chce.

Managing WMI profiles -

Profile Management provides run time information in the form of WMI objects. This includes the provider profile, profile type, size, disk usage, product details, timestamps of different triggers occurred during connection and disconnection, the current configuration, etc. These WMI objects are consumed and displayed in the Director console session information.

This article details the WMI objects and how to query the use PowerShell

Note :. WMI objects profile management are only available on the XenDesktop deployment from 7.0

What this article covers?

This article covers all WMI objects related to the execution time of the measures that are published by Profile management for each session. This article also contains some basic examples of how to query WMI objects using PowerShell.

This article does not cover all the details of WMI itself. See the following article for more information on WMI:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa394582 (v = vs.85) .aspx

When should I use these WMI objects

Runtime information about profiles can help to answer the following questions: -

  • What technology is the management of a profile? Is it a Microsoft or Citrix roaming profile profile?
  • What kind of profile is loaded? Is it a local profile, a model profile, or another type of profile?
  • What is the size of the disk is allocated to my profile on the network drive? How my profile used? How many files are in my profile?
  • What is the time required to manage different profile activated by the connection and disconnection? My system is slow - is it due to the load profile
  • Can I generate disk diagnostic information to my profile store at this point in time

The most of this information can be obtained only from the director, a XenDesktop console. The same information is available on each endpoint in the form of ofWMIobjects that can be queried or even automated if necessary.

Managing WMI Object model profiles

The Profile Management solution provides the following WMI classes for different application. All these WMI classes can be queried using programming interfaces, command line, and PowerShell. All the WMI classes profile management are recorded under " Root Citrix Profiles metric " namespace.

Things Fall Together: Convergence and Divergence of your screens and data

Things Fall Together: Convergence and Divergence of your screens and data -

Watching the Twitter stream and the blogosphere-think that there PROFESSIONAL RESULTS only way how things are going. We converge, diverge us, PCs are dead, etc. Well a few things I've learned in my decades of life who help me every day and as events Analyst are: 1) Things are changing, but not as fast as you perceive to and 2) everything is not black and white, there are shades of gray. This is particularly important in the art. I foretell that if the types of devices we use are conflicting, uses of these devices, these applications are converging. What I mean is that we move away to have "specialized" devices for specific applications in the broadcast on TV, web browsing on computers, voice communication on handheld computers, for example. Moving forward, all of these applications will be through any device, they converge. As cloud services and streaming becomes the rule in relation to the exception, it will not matter, well, this device gets used, the content will fit any screen sizes, the network or the context. It does't mean that everything works just as well or even on each device that will never happen because of physical restrictions (screen size, input type), but you'll have access to all data on a device . So while the number of devices we use to access data increases, the types of applications and data will be limited by a specific type of device.

People debate the future of the PC today, and many use the example that mainframes are off, put there by the PC, so mobile devices will cause the same. Of course, mainframes are not the primary form factor of choice, but many older organizations that started with mainframes, still have some. Go get in hospitals, banks and many government agencies, they are still struggling with data from the central computer, even if they have adopted PC and server for the last 15-20 years. So this brings us to the first lesson. Things are changing fast, but it will take decades, if ever, before computers are not common in business more. There will always be niche uses or users, which will keep the PC around, like mainframes today. Not everything has to be done on a mobile device. Many thought smartphones eliminate the PC, now they think tablets will do the same. It is interesting that most business users do not replace their PC with a tablet or smartphone they just got bigger bags to carry around additional equipment. And when we begin regularly using kiosks, televisions and our fridge to access the internet or our work or personal data, we will still have our other devices. According to the context, the location, the network, the time we have to access our different-application devices work best for different types of data. That will never change. Just because you can run computer-aided design (CAD) on a smartphone today does't you should. But it is true that we will not need high-end servers or PC to run or access our CAD. We can do it anywhere.

Another device is to evaluate the TV. TVs today have access to the Internet browsers that can surf, you get your e-mail, etc. Do you really need a desktop computer at home more? Perhaps, because most people see television as a passive experience, at least when watching a show or event. Self-direct your show, choose camera angles, stories etc just has not taken off on TV because people just want to relax when in front of one. But people like to use their PC for music and movie editing. PCs are down for sure, but most homes will always keep around for tasks they can not or do not want to do it on other form factors.

So that brings me to lesson two, it is not black and white. I think rather than focus on which shape factor (possibly) dies, the focus should be more on how to access, secure, support and management of data across multiple platforms and the do it the right way. Some people use smartphones, other tablets, PCs, servers and some will still stick to mainframes. Some will require local storage and processing power, all others move to the cloud. It is not just one thing, it's many things. The more things fall apart, the harder they fall together. The more they converge, the more they diverge. Of course, there will always be cases of specializations, but in general, we add new devices, applications and access technologies without leaving never fully legacy behind. Well at least for the next decades. Anyone using a typewriter lately?

DaaS: an order for health care organizations today -

The office as a (DaaS) service model, which allows organizations to outsource their entire desktop environment to a third party service provider, is growing in popularity across a range of industry sectors because of its predictable cost, simplicity and scalability. This approach is particularly appropriate for health care organizations, which often have tight IT budgets and limited IT capabilities. SLTN Inter Access , a Citrix Gold Solution Advisor based in the Netherlands, provided DaaS its healthcare customers for a number of years. His Werkplek (WorkSpace) 2.0 solution architecture leverages the mobility management of virtualization and Citrix company (EMM) technologies to enable customers to virtualize applications quickly and easily and workstations and mobilizing clinicians .

Why? DaaS

SLTN Inter Access, a adopter early DaaS, notes that this model resonates with health care organizations in the Netherlands for several reasons:

1. price subscription: Not only DaaS relieve clients of the need for significant capital investment when moving to a mobile environment, it offers subscription price that makes it easy and predictable budgeting. Instead, customers can focus their resources on capital equipment and medical facilities.

2. IT expertise: Many health care organizations have small IT teams who are not trained for the update in major work such as moving application and desktop virtualization. DaaS providers such as Inter Access SLTN provide expertise and specialized services to ensure a smooth transition, reducing problems and meet SLAs.

3. Mobility: DaaS aligns with the need for mobility of health workers within and outside of the hospital or the clinic. virtual applications and desktops combined with EMM solutions allow employees to move freely and to access resources on mobile devices, while IT teams are relieved of the burden of maintaining traditional workstations.

4. Security: remote hosting of applications and data in a secure, compliant, third-party data center, and delivery of encrypted network connections , help ensure regulatory compliance and patient confidentiality. In contrast, applications and locally installed browsers may be vulnerable to user security errors, cyber threats and hackers.

5. Integrated protection against operating losses : Many healthcare organizations must operate around the clock, making a strategy interruption of essential activity. DaaS offering applications and virtual desktops to any device, so users can access critical information from another location or a temporary installation in the event of a disaster or other event.

SLTN Inter Access provides its WerkPlex 2.0 solution to a number of Dutch care organizations and is currently finalizing two new offerings that will add 10,000 users. According to CEO Eugene Tuijnman "This hosted model allows companies to make significant progress in their information systems to support business goals without heavy investment in infrastructure and personnel. Our DaaS offering adds to the appeal of virtualization and mobility because it is affordable, easily scalable and highly customizable budget. "
