Delivering Mobile Cloud Services Network Control now gets End-to-End unique integrations with Citrix for the Cisco Open Network Environment -

From the data center across the WAN to the user ..

in the long history of the Cisco and Citrix company, the two companies have worked together to provide excellent solutions to many of the largest companies in the world. there are about 16 months, we enthusiastically agreed to extend the sets of solutions we jointly offer beyond desktop virtualization to respond also to mobility, Cloud Services and Cloud Networking markets. Few other alliances in the industry can match the breadth and depth of integrated solutions from Cisco and Citrix develop.

This week at Cisco Live in Milan, yet now I have another reason to remain excited about our partnership with Cisco ... the new Cisco announcement about support "both" networks data centers and company ONE (Open Network Environment) Cisco platform.

Cisco's decision to consolidate their automation technology in the Cisco Application Infrastructure Policy Controller (APIC) is a powerful move which clearly demonstrates that Cisco not only gets "open", but is really encouraging their ecosystem partners significant added value to joint customers through deep integrations. As a strategic partner, we support Cisco in this transition and we have already made investments to link the APIC NetScaler family of products including 1000V with Citrix NetScaler.

The addition of the Cisco APIC Enterprise Module is a step just as powerful in making centric application framework (ACI) and automation of truly ubiquitous network in current and future network infrastructure. By allowing the entire family of Cisco WAN Access, Wireless and Data Center products to be uniformly controlled by APIC, Cisco is indeed far from any notion of needing upgrades as customers transition to an era network defined by software.

has Cisco Milan live, we will be demonstrating a real life scenario of how the ICA, Citrix integrations enabled by Cisco and depth, provides visibility and unprecedented control during delivery of office and mobile services. Specifically, we will link end-user experience from Citrix XenDesktop, market-leading virtual desktop solution and Citrix NetScaler, CDA supplying several of the largest clouds of the world, to spread so transparent in the APIC Enterprise Module to enable fine-grained control of the network from the experience of the end user. In the demo, the NetScaler gateway detects a potential deterioration in the experience of the end user with his native knowledge of HDX protocol and invited the APIC change QoS policy at the network automatically. APIC, now tied with the Enterprise module is able to drive change across the entire network starting with the DC and extending the WAN and access and wireless networks and show an immediate improvement in the experience of the end user in a final end network.

As the unified front end for all things Citrix NetScaler can also use the same approach for delivering value to the delivery of mobile and virtual application via XenMobile and XenApp. The NetScaler VPX, SDX, MPX and 1000v can further expand this scope to all forms of deployment in all applications in the public and private cloud.

Anyone can show a "relationship" with a press release and a quote, but you have deep integrations consistently delivered products across various product lines to bring forth the true synergy from end to end between companies to deliver value to the customer significantly in several areas. Cisco and Citrix are great partners because of this "coherent" synergy and we look forward to continue working together to provide a powerful value for our joint customers that we are transforming the mobile cloud era.
