The next life skill that must be taught to children at a young age is cyber security for home, and for the whole family. When I was a teenager and the Internet came to my city, the only cyber security concerns for the home did not meet strangers you met online, and not give passwords.
Things have changed since. Hackers are more sophisticated and better equipped. And the amount of data involved has reached exponential levels. You can do a lot to increase your cyber home and keep your family safer from identity theft and a host of other malicious online attacks.

The Internet is not only a great threat, it is also an incredible resource of knowledge on cybersecurity. Many blogs and online forums discussing the risks in cybersecurity. You're one of them now, actually!
Stay informed is your safest way to stay secure as you can alerted to new patches and software that will protect you before you use the Internet unattended for long.
Use tools you

Do not go all the flu vaccine on here. You must regularly update your anti-malware programs, operating system and software. These often have the latest cyber security updates. Without them, you leave yourself open to cyber security threats when you do not have to.
