With the Citrix core focus on mobility, we are witnessing a requirement customer (in particular from more security conscious organizations) to be able to provide secure quality email business, calendar and contacts for mobile devices on any platform, while ensuring the DSI that sensitive data the company is never stored outside the data center. Hosted MobileMail is the answer, and offers users an experience that looks and feels like a mobile application, but is delivered from Citrix XenApp in the data center.
When I say "looks and feels like a mobile app," I am not speaking only of the user interface, even if the application is running in the data center (in Windows ) MobileMail remains responsive touchscreen, integrated with the local telephone dialer and is highly integrated with Microsoft Exchange.
