Developed by Citrix Support has the Windows tool XDPing proved a popular customer self-service tool for troubleshooting Windows Virtual Desktop Appliance and XenDesktop controller installations. A quick XDPing Health Check has stored to overcome thousands of customers of Citrix hours and days common configuration issues.
Here in Linux VDA technology, one of our main goals was a maintainability to bake in the product of the day. With an aggressive schedule to add support for additional Linux distributions and product characteristics in different business environments, we recognized the need to be vested in the customer experience.
For this reason, and riding on the success of the support team with Windows XDPing, we have developed our own XDPing tool for Linux VDAS. We have seriously as well made it. The series of tests leading to the Linux environment is comprehensive , XDPing tested with more than 150 individual items. Some of the main features are:
