Receiver for Linux 13.0 improves XenDesktop experience -

A big jump in our HDX SoC initiative, taking "Receiver for Linux" for the next level of performance, functionality, user experience greatly improved and better integration options for partners. This version offers a better experience with the latest XenDesktop 7.1

Support Platform ARMHF -. Following the industry trend for ARM, we have added support for the platform ARMHF well as the existing version ARMEL

Optimization Platform SDK for x86 and ARM -. enable partners to the ecosystem and customers to develop plugins for new HDX acceleration in hardware, and more generic optimizations available in the receiver

advanced HDX performance in this version improve the user experience when using productivity applications, viewing multimedia files and for audio and video conference calls. Now the receiver can handle high FPS for 2D and 3D graphics with the partner hardware accelerated expansion and other generic optimizations, stretching the limits of the server, even from a low-power device. Under the control of the flow hood, multithreading and audio UDP greatly improve audio and video conferencing experience. Support for client side content fetching HDX MediaStream in maximizing server and network scalability for media delivery.

New self-service user interface offers the possibility of self-service access to applications and desktops in the same manner as other Citrix receivers, with the ability to customize the interface according to your needs. In addition, we provide the SDK to build your own user experience by using our graphic assets and guidelines. The kiosk mode in the self-service user interface allows partners to expand the thin client experience while setting a few parameters.
