The XT version 3.1 includes the widest material and compatibility of the platform, new developer extensibility, and better centralized management. The latest version of XenClient XT includes:

expanded device support with a wider HCL with new appliances such as:

  • HP Folio 9470m Ultrabook
  • AMD FirePro V500 GPU graphics card
  • AMD FirePro V700 graphics GPU
  • wireless adapter tiny Lenovo M92p (Intel)

support new guest virtual machines and capacity improvement in existing customer platforms of

  • Support for Ubuntu 12.10
  • support for Windows 8 (single-touch only)
  • improved Linux support with a bar in guest VM switcher and improved support for USB Linux VM devices

improvements to the software development kit (SDK) for the service of virtual machines, including

  • supports memory introspection virtual machines for malware detection and forensic science
  • Access API VM service from Windows VM
  • New APIs for composition of display to allow "single window" isolated view VMs with different risks and the value of assets

more centralized management capabilities in the Synchronizer as

  • deployment and configuration service virtual machines in the Synchronizer
