Citrix Partner Uproar "NetScaler is certified VCE Vblock Ready" -

Citrix was accepted into the channel ensuring VCE Technology Alliance Partner Program and Citrix NetScaler was certified VCE Vblock Ready VCE partners support recommending the channel partner NetScaler for environments Vblock systems.

VCE and Citrix have partnered to bring Citrix NetScaler with TriScale ™ technology distribution controller foreground applications to Vblock ™ client systems. Using NetScaler customers can optimize the performance and availability of applications and data in their cloud environments. The combination of VCE Vblock Systems and NetScaler solutions offer both the value of the pre-packaged infrastructure and converged Vblock systems and technology advanced controller applications of distribution inherent to NetScaler solutions.

Citrix signed the VCE Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program agreement in September 2013, and as a first step in the partnership, NetScaler finished Vblock Ready certification. Certification tests focused on the core functionality of NetScaler, with particular attention to its world-class load balancing, high availability / failover and content filtering capabilities at high speed. The direct integration of NetScaler with Vblock systems via vCenter API has also been validated.

VCE developed the Vblock Ready ™ certification to ensure business partners and customers that VCE technology partner solutions have been tested and certified on the Vblock and VCE systems support the decision to implement these solutions. The certification demonstrates that a partner solution has met all the inputs, integration and interoperability criteria and is technically ready for use with Vblock systems.
