In general, I'm not usually big on "predictions" for the new year. So most of the "big ideas" experts say are vague memories in April and August forgotten. I know that experts say the color of 2013 is emerald green, the screen of Anne Hathaway's haircut may have locked a sign Oscar and the Chicago Bears will be rebuilding their team. What 2013 holds for the stock market, scientific discoveries and new one-hit wonders, I'm not sure.

What I know is that application management will be a problem for you in 2013 than ever before. Here is part of my predictions for your global business application in 2013 ...

1) Windows XP migration will top. You have a deadline in April 2014 for leave XP. If you have not completed your migration to accelerate the process by automating application testing.
