Configuring Citrix Receiver for Android with CloudGateway2.5 / 2.6 -

This article provides information on typical configuration problems that may face while working with Citrix Receiver Cloud Gateway. It emphasizes that Citrix Administrator should do when several errors occur in Citrix Receiver for Android and work with @Work Apps for Android. This blog provides insight to solve the questions that could be seen.

1. I get an error saying "Citrix Receiver could not check the status of your device. Contact your administrator."

2. Unable to launch web / SaaS apps when VPN is connected

3. I get an error "this application has been removed from Citrix Receiver. delete this application from your device or reinstall using Citrix Receiver." at the start of a mobile app in Android

4. I receive an error stating "Citrix Receiver can not enforce security policies for that application. You can try to install the application again or contact your administrator"

1. Get an error "Citrix can not check the status of your device. Contact your administrator"

This usually occurs when there is an error configuration has been done on the AG. Please make sure you read the documentation available to http://support.citrix.com/proddocs/topic/appcontroller-26/clg-appc-device-mgmt-storefront-tsk.htm

  1. Log on to Access Gateway using Shell (SSH) secure connection, such as PuTTY
  2. at the command prompt, type :. bind vpn world -appController https: // where AppControllerFQDN is the AppController web address.
  3. Log Access Gateway and return to the command prompt on the computer running IIS.

After the above mark is made sure that all users are disconnected from Access Gateway before trying again. This is applicable to AG AG 10.0.71.6014.e.nc

2. Unable to launch web / SaaS apps when VPN is connected

Inorder to be able to launch a web / SaaS applications from @WorkWeb or built in Citrix receiver Web browser, please ensure that the following is configured on Access Gateway.
Servers 1. First and foremost, please go to the Access Gateway Node Admin console and under DNS, choose named
  • Make sure all the servers are enabled and effective state for all DNS servers are shown with a green bubble UP.

2. Make sure that the FQDN of all Web / SaaS internal and external applications you want users to access are solvable from the DNS server that is configured.

3. If you Split Tunnel ON configured on your Access Gateway Virtual Server, and then ensure that the "Intranet Application" routes are configured properly and that policy is defined with the virtual server.

4. You must ensure that the list of intranet application includes route AppController IP, IP Exchange Server, Intranet IP.

In the Access Gateway Administration Console, you can navigate to the node (on the left pane) "Access Gateway >> Resources >> Intranet Applications." Here, the IP routes that are defined must include the IP addresses of AppController, Exchange server (if you choose to use @WorkMail), and all IP addresses of the internal web application you access as WebApp .

Edit this please make sure you link these settings to your virtual server AG.

5. If there is a firewall between AG and internal interoperability, we must ensure that port 443 and the ports are open DNS resolution. This is to allow DNS resolution for all FQDN that users are trying to access from Citrix Receiver or mobile applications on VPN.

3. I get an error "This application has been removed from Citrix Receiver. Delete this application from your device or reinstall using Citrix Receiver." When starting a mobile app in Android

This usually occurs when the deployment consists of AccessGateway <-> Windows StoreFront 1.2 <-> app Controller (2.5 / 2.6)
1. this problem is known and please ensure that when configuring delivery points to the store on the StoreFront Windows Admin console, please have the display name without spaces or special characters . please use alphanumeric characters for the display name.
4. I receive an error stating "Citrix Receiver can not enforce security policies for this application. you can try to install the application again or contact your administrator "
This usually occurs if you use Windows Storefront for aggregation for all Windows / Mobile / Web / SaaS applications. Please make sure you follow the steps mentioned in this documentation http://support.citrix.com/proddocs/topic/appcontroller-26/clg-appc-device-mgmt-storefront-tsk.html
