"The proof of the negative" with wire Data -

When users complain about slow VDI performance, mostly not, it is not due to a problem in the Citrix environment, but because of applications, Web servers, databases, and other factors. In these cases, the Citrix engineer must "prove the negative" or show that the cause of the problem outside of the Citrix environment is.

In the video below, Citrix CTP John Smith goes beyond the Citrix monitoring capabilities of ExtraHop platform, analytics wire to help data, Citrix engineers see the cause of slow performance results.

Today is John a solutions architect at ExtraHop, but before that he spent more than 15 years as a Citrix engineer and architect. He estimates that if Citrix environments for troubleshooting, some 70 percent of the time, the cause of the problem lay outside the Citrix environment.

With wire data analysis that you can see important Citrix metrics such as application startup times Server, login times by users, the loading time of subnet and ICA channel activity. But more importantly, you can correlate these metrics with back-end performance across the entire infrastructure network, storage, database, and other infrastructure levels.

Watch the video to see how it works and how you can wire data "prove the negative"

If you are interested in how to simplify troubleshooting for Citrix environments, we organize a joint webinar with the Citrix Ready team on 25th June entitled avoid the Blame game with ExtraHop wire Data Analytics this webinar is a demo of the ExtraHop solution of John Smith have run.
